CPD Aims

An outline of the role and function of the Restorative Dentist within a Head and Neck team and MDT. Discussion of the diagnosis and pre-treatment planning of patients receiving head and neck cancer care together with the treatment needs of such patients before, during and after surgical oncological care. Comparison will also be made in relation to pre-Stem Cell and pre-IV Bisphosponate dental assessments. Emphasis on the need for robust team care and comment on the recent peer review; in terms of the modern role of the Restorative Dentist in the H&N oncology MDT.
